Having a fear of the dentist in her adolescence, she experienced the transformative power of dentistry, resolving her jaw pain with the help of a Kois deprogrammer appliance. This journey inspired her to pursue evidence-based dentistry at the Kois Institute and offer compassionate care to others who are fearful or in pain. With a commitment to excellence, she has been in practice for eight years and has been running Bothell Family Dentistry for two of them! In her office, she fosters a welcoming and family-like atmosphere for patients of all ages, so you want to be here, even just to say hello! Dr. Ament’s dedication to continuous improvement led her to join prestigious organizations like the Washington Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association, so you can be sure when you are being treated by one of the best.

Her Expertise & Credentials
Dr. Lynn Xie is a cosmetic and general dentist whose focus is patient comfort. She was born in upstate New York and moved to Texas in the 5th grade. She remained there for undergrad at UT Austin (hook ’em horns!) and dental school, graduating with high honors from UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry. Shortly afterward, she moved to Seattle to be close to family and enjoy the PNW.
Dr. Xie has taken extensive CE courses in her pursuit of clinical excellence and is committed to lifelong learning. She strives to stay current on both the latest techniques and modern technology by being a member of both the Academy of General Dentistry and the Washington State Dental Association. She has experience leading and teaching courses centered on clinical treatment planning and patient-centered care and participates in multiple study clubs. She is passionate about giving back to the community and is involved in the annual Seattle King County Clinic, which last year provided 2900 patients with free medical and dental services.
In her free time, Dr. Xie loves spending time outside with her poodle mix “Ike,” 2 nieces, and her nephews. They enjoy going out on the lake together, and last year, she completed her first backpacking trip in the enchantments. She loves animals and quirky animal facts, with her favorite animal being a sloth. She also enjoys board games and trivia nights, boasting a title of 2x winner of “The Office” trivia!
